提多书-Titus 第 2 章

2:1至于你，要讲那合乎健康教训的话。
But you, speak the things which are fitting to the healthy teaching.
2:2劝老年人要节制适度、庄重、清明自守，在信、爱、忍耐上都要健康。
Exhort older men to be temperate, grave, of a sober mind, healthy in faith, in love, in endurance;
2:3劝老年妇人也是一样，在举止行动上，要和有分于圣事的人相称，不说谗言，不被酒奴役，将善美的事教导人，
Older women likewise to be in demeanor as befits those who engage in sacred things, not slanderers, nor enslaved by much wine, teachers of what is good,
2:4好训练年轻的妇人爱丈夫，爱儿女，
That they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,
2:5清明自守，贞洁，料理家务，良善，服从自己的丈夫，免得神的话被毁谤。
To be of a sober mind, pure, workers at home, good, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God would not be blasphemed.
2:6劝青年人也是一样，要清明自守。
The younger men likewise exhort to be of a sober mind,
2:7在凡事上你自己要显出善行的榜样，在教导上要不腐化，要庄重，
Concerning all things presenting yourself as a pattern of good works: in your teaching showing incorruption, gravity,
2:8要用无可挑剔的健康言语，使那反对的人既没有坏事可说到我们，便自觉羞愧。
Healthy speech that cannot be condemned, that he who opposes may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.
2:9劝奴仆要凡事服从自己的主人，讨他们的喜欢，不可顶撞他们，
Exhort slaves to be subject to their own masters in all things, to be well pleasing, not contradicting,
2:10不可私拿东西，却要显为绝对优良可信，好使我们救主神的教训在凡事上都得光荣。
Not pilfering, but showing all good faithfulness that they may adorn the teaching of our Savior God in all things.
2:11因为神救万人的恩典，已经显现出来，
For the grace of God, bringing salvation to all men, has appeared,
2:12教导我们弃绝不敬虔和属世的情欲，好在今世过自守、公义、敬虔的生活，
Training us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in the present age,
2:13等候那有福的盼望，就是至大的神和我们的救主，耶稣基督之荣耀的显现。
Awaiting the blessed hope, even the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
2:14祂为我们舍了自己，要赎我们脱离一切的不法，并洁净我们，归祂自己成为独特的子民，作祂特有的产业，热心行善。
Who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify to Himself a particular people as His unique possession, zealous of good works.
2:15这些事你要讲说，也要用各等权柄劝勉人、责备人；不可叫人轻看你。
These things speak, and exhort and convict with all authority. Let no one despise you.
