马太福音-Matthew 第 11 章

11:1耶稣吩咐完了十二个门徒，就离开那里，在他们的诸城中施教并传道。
And when Jesus had finished giving instructions to His twelve disciples, He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities.
11:2这时，约翰在监里听见基督所作的，就要他的门徒带话去，
Now when John heard in the prison of the works of the Christ, he sent word through his disciples
11:3问祂说，那要来者是你么？还是我们该期待别人？
And said to Him, Are You the Coming One, or should we expect another?
11:4耶稣回答他们说，你们去，把所闻所见的报告约翰，
And Jesus answered and said to them, Go, report to John the things that you hear and see:
11:5就是瞎子看见，瘸子行走，患麻风的得洁净，聋子听见，死人复活，穷人有福音传给他们。
The blind receive their sight and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; and the dead are raised and the poor have the gospel announced to them;
11:6凡不因我绊跌的，就有福了。
And blessed is he who is not stumbled because of Me.
11:7他们走了，耶稣就对群众讲论约翰说，你们从前出到旷野，要看什么？被风吹动的芦苇么？
And as these went away, Jesus began to say to the crowds concerning John, What did you go out into the wilderness to look at? A reed shaken by the wind?
11:8你们出去，到底要看什么？穿细软衣服的人么？看哪，那穿细软衣服的人，是在王宫里。
But what did you go out to see? A man arrayed in soft clothing? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in the houses of kings.
11:9你们出去究竟为什么？要看申言者么？我告诉你们，是的，他比申言者大多了。
But why did you go out? To see a prophet? Yes, I say to you, and much more than a prophet.
11:10这人就是经上所记的，“看哪，我在你面前差遣我的使者，他要在你前面预备你的道路。”
This is he concerning whom it is written, "Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You.''
11:11我实在告诉你们，妇人所生的，没有一个兴起来大过施浸者约翰的；然而在诸天的国里最小的比他还大。
Truly I say to you, Among those born of women there has not arisen one greater than John the Baptist, yet he who is least in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he.
11:12可是，从施浸者约翰的日子直到现在，诸天的国是强力夺取的，强力的人就夺得了。
But from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of the heavens is taken by violence, and violent men seize it.
11:13因为众申言者和律法申言，到约翰为止；
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John;
11:14你们若肯接受，他就是那要来的以利亚。
And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah, who is to come.
11:15有耳可听的，就应当听。
He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
11:16但我可把这世代比作什么？好比孩童坐在市场上，招呼另一些孩童说，
But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like little children sitting in the marketplaces, who call to the others
11:17我们向你们吹笛，你们不跳舞；我们哀歌，你们不捶胸。
And say, We have played the flute to you, and you did not dance; we have sung a dirge, and you did not mourn.
11:18约翰来了，不吃不喝，人就说，他有鬼附着。
For John came neither eating nor drinking; and they say, He has a demon.
11:19人子来了，也吃也喝，人又说，看哪，一个贪食好酒的人，一个税吏和罪人的朋友。但智慧从她的行为得称为义。
The Son of Man came eating and drinking; and they say, Behold, a gluttonous man and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. Yet wisdom is justified by her works.
11:20那时，耶稣开始责备那些祂曾在其中行过大多数异能的城，因为她们没有悔改：
Then He began to reproach the cities in which most of His works of power took place, because they did not repent:
11:21哥拉汛哪，你有祸了！伯赛大啊，你有祸了！因为在你们中间所行的异能，若行在推罗、西顿，她们早已披麻蒙灰悔改了。
Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the works of power which took place in you had taken place in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
11:22但我告诉你们，在审判的日子，推罗、西顿所受的，比你们所受的还容易。
But I say to you, It will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.
11:23还有你，迦百农啊，你已经被高举到天上，你必坠落到阴间。因为在你那里所行的异能，若行在所多玛，她必会存留到今天。
And you, Capernaum, who have been exalted to heaven, to Hades you will be brought down. For if the works of power which took place in you had taken place in Sodom, it would have remained until today.
11:24但我告诉你们，在审判的日子，所多玛地所受的，比你所受的还容易。
But I say to you that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.
11:25那时，耶稣回答说，父啊，天地的主，我颂扬你，因为你将这些事，向智慧通达人藏起来，向婴孩却启示出来。
At that time Jesus answered and said, I extol You, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.
11:26父啊，是的，因为在你眼中看为美的，本是如此。
Yes, Father, for thus it has been well-pleasing in Your sight.
11:27我父已将一切都交付了我；除了父，没有人认识子；除了子和子所愿意启示的，也没有人认识父。
All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one fully knows the Son except the Father; neither does anyone fully know the Father except the Son and him to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
11:28凡劳苦担重担的，可以到我这里来，我必使你们得安息。
Come to Me all who toil and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
11:29我心里柔和谦卑，因此你们要负我的轭，且要跟我学，你们魂里就必得安息；
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
11:30因为我的轭是容易的，我的担子是轻省的。
For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
